Use of the Service
Dungeon Master Codex is a free tool for creating, managing, and exporting D&D 5e cards for personal use. You may use it for personal, non-commercial tabletop gaming purposes.
Accounts
You may use the site without an account, in which case your data is stored only on your device. Optionally, you may create an account to enable cloud sync and access your cards across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address when registering.
Data & Cloud Sync
Registered users may have their card and collection data stored on our servers to enable cloud sync. You retain ownership of all content you create. We do not claim any rights over your card data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
Intellectual Property
The Dungeon Master Codex application, including its design and code, is our intellectual property. Game content you create using the tool remains your own. Any SRD content imported via the importer is subject to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license as published by Wizards of the Coast.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. While we take reasonable steps to protect cloud-stored data, we recommend keeping backups of important content. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dungeon Master Codex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via your account settings page.

The D&D 5e System Reference Document (SRD) content available via the importer is provided under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. Dungeons & Dragons and related marks are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Dungeon Master Codex is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
